Welcome to the weekend ☀️
I woke up this morning with Psalm 1 on my mind. I read it several times, in several translations and it occurred to me, it matters the company we keep. It matters who we walk with, talk with, go to for advice.
It matters.
It’s true that Jesus went to the lost, dined with them, healed, and delivered them. The thing is, they left His presence changed. They didn’t change Him.
Jesus didn’t just stay with them and do/say nothing regarding their current state. We do that sometimes. And when we do, we find ourselves taking on the ways of the wicked.
Jesus ministered. And lives were changed.
Today, we have become so comfortable with sin. We have no issue walking with the ungodly, sitting right alongside what God told us to come out of and to separate ourselves from.
Sin no longer makes us uncomfortable. In fact, the Word of God makes so-called Christians so uncomfortable that we want it watered down.
It’s time to come out.
It’s time to separate.
The blind can’t be leaders of themselves.
We are called to be salt and light, a city set on a hill…
Just a thought 🤍
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend ☀️✨🎉
