I heard someone say something to the effect of: We need to learn how to live for Jesus because there is coming a day when we will have to die for Him.

That’s deep.

I truly believe that day is coming a lot sooner than many of us think.

Across the world, even here in the United States, Christians are facing persecution in various forms.

Now is not the time to shrink away and hide. On the contrary, it is time to stand bold. It is time to witness. We must be willing to go to jail. Be willing to give up our jobs, our homes, even our lives for the sake of Jesus Christ.

This may seem extreme. However, we have brothers and sisters facing this across the world. Some people have lost their jobs even here.

The persecution has already begun. It was here in the time of the apostles. It is here even now and it is worsening as the days pass by.

We must make a choice: Will we learn to live boldly and unashamedly for Jesus Christ today? And when, not if, but when the persecution of the saints reaches us, we will also be able to boldly and unashamedly give our lives for Jesus Christ.
