One of Those Days

Ever have one of those “anything that can go wrong will” kind of days?

Same.

It started with a conversation I had no business having. Then a car issue, then a hotel issue…

Let me tell you, the car issue ended up NOT being as bad as initially imagined – I was told that it was probably a broken ball/joint. Thank God it wasn’t. It was literally just a popped tire.

The first tow truck company I called NEVER showed up. But the second one I called was not only more affordable, they arrived expeditiously.

When I got to the hotel, the room I reserved was already booked. But, the upgraded us to a suite, no extra charge.

Let me tell you, sometimes, in the midst of the troubled times, it’s difficult to see God at work.

But, I’ve been around the block a time or two, so I know, that the darker the night, the brighter the Son shines.

None of that night was ideal. Not one part of it. But even in the midst of it all, God was at work.

It seemed like one disappointment, one trouble, one affliction piled on top of another on top of another!

And I know I’m not the only one. We are in a time where the saints of God are at war and the battle feels constant.

But God!

He knows the ending from the beginning.

In the midst of it all, we have to learn to trust Him even when we can’t see our way out. He always makes a way!

Morning, that was beautifully explained. You really can’t add much too it, you covered all bases.

It’s my belief that when you are trying to change for the better, “God says oh you want to change, let’s find out”. God doesn’t temp us, but he will test us. The test will expose the true character of man.

But when you come out of the fire and your belief has increased, then God knows we are serious. We are proven in the difficult moments. I leave you with this, if every problem we faced, God answered immediately, would your faith in him increase?

Great thought. I’m thankful that no matter what test or trial we face in this life, God not only helps us, He delivers us out of them all. Sometimes that means being with us in the fire.
