There I was, waiting for my son to change my tire, looking down, feeling sorry for myself, and I saw it, plain as day, a puzzle piece.
“Someone, somewhere has an incomplete puzzle.”
Growing up, my mom loved doing puzzles. It was a family affair. We’d clear the coffee table and everyone would work on the 1,000 piece puzzle. It was serious business. So, I know, whoever was missing this one piece, surely has searched high and low to find it.
God does that for us. He will search high and low. There is no where His love won’t reach to pull us out of darkness, to lead us to repentance, to get us back to right standing with Him.
And when we do, the Word tells us that heavens angels rejoice over ONE – just ONE – sinner who comes to repentance.
Just as excited as we get over finding that misplaced puzzle piece, a misplaced (or unexpected) dollar or twenty, or that last hidden special snack at just the right time… Heaven rejoices all the more over a lost sinner, now found.
I love those unexpected reminders and lessons when we least expect them!

Excellent point you made on lost things. I often say God has a great sense of humor as it relates to his children.
Life can be so frustrating at times and then all of sudden God reminds us of something that kind of takes our mind off of the problem like a (puzzle piece).
As I get older, I am realizing that life is serious, but there always something beautiful to find even if we just stumble upon it. Thank God, for reassurance at times of despair.
